Meet us at the Creek, a place for you to belong!

"For just as each of us has one body with many members and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. " Romans 12:4-5

Our Awana Program

Awana's name comes from II Timothy 2:15 "Apporoved Workmen Are Not Ashamed".  Awana offers clubs for preschool through 6th grade. All clubs focus on Scripture memorization, where clubbers are rewarded for their work. A typical club night is divided into three main sections….

  • Handbook Time (Scripture memorization and discussion)
  • Large Group (lesson time)
  • Game Time (active, fun games….Wear fast shoes!)
  • Snacks will be provided during Handbook time.

Awana is divided into the following clubs where children are taught at an age appropriate level: Cubbies, Sparks, T&T.  Click on the tabs above to see more details about each level.

2 Years Prior To Kindergarten

Cubbies have a fun night of learning with Cubbie Bear and friends. They have a Bible story, learn Scripture, have craft/music time, and an age-appropriate game time. The Cubbies’ program focuses on kids learning respect for God and the authority of His Word.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Sparks are divided into three separate clubs for Handbook Time, but join together for the fun of game time and Large Group time. The Sparks program focuses on giving Sparkies a Biblical knowledge base. In these three years, Sparkies will learn about the Bible from cover to cover.

3rd - 6th Grade

The T&T clubs are divided into two distinct clubs for Handbook Time (T&T Ultimate Adventure for 3rd – 4th grades and T&T Ultimate Challenge for 5th – 6th grades). Each of these clubs has its own unique uniform shirt and award system. The two T&T clubs join up for a fun and very active game time as well as a Large Group lesson on their level. The T&T curriculum is designed to teach the truth about God’s Word and train them to follow God and practice His grace.

242 Student Ministries

“And they devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers.”  Acts 2:42

Student Ministry Overview

242 Student Ministry is based on Acts 2:42. We chose this passage because it describes the New Testament Church; a church known for COMMUNITY. So our desire is to create a community of teenage believers that share life together. A community that others will desire to join. A community known for its love, pursuit of Christ, and passion for evangelism.
